2nd Karting Challenge TOPcasas Estate Agents Silver Coast

We have the pleasure to present a special activity taking place in the Silver Coast which is being organized by TOPcasas Silver Coast Estate Agents, this is a Karting Competition between our Staff members, Friends and Clients.

Everyone is invited!

The event will take place in KIRO - Silver Coast's International Competition Track, located nearby to Bombarral on the 16th of October 2010 (Saturday), at 1700 hours

These are the details of the TOPcasas Karting Challenge:
- Karts engine Honda with 270 cc - 4 stroke;
- 15 minutes qualification + 30 minutes challenge;
- Min. 16 pilots and max. of 30 pilots;
- Min. age 16 years old, max. 99 years old!

After the event we will have dinner all together.

Royal Óbidos Spa & Golf Resort - Silver Coast

Royal Óbidos Spa & Golf Resort, recently established an agreement with Yoo, a global reference design for the interior architecture and decor of the hotel and apartments of this Resort located in the Silver Coast

The development will have a 5-star hotel with architecture and interior decoration designed by the yoo design studio and the interior design of the apartments over the Jade Jagger for yoo.

The luxury apartments allow residents an innovative solution "lock-offs, which will enable the division to rent the apartment into two units, with the simple closing of a door.

The yoo was created in 1999 by Philippe Starck and John Hitchcox, two compelling names in international design, and has been responsible for the design of some of the most emblematic residential and hospitality projects in the world.

José Manuel Fortunato, director of MSF TUR.IM, the MSF Group holding under the Tourism and Real Estate, notes that the hiring of yoo for the interior architecture of the resort is a milestone for the project which is sure to become one of icons of quality real estate in Portugal in 2012, the date set for the opening of the golf course and hotel unit.

The Royal Óbidos Spa & Golf Resort joins two other big names so the project after Severiano Ballesteros has signed the drawing of the golf course of 18 holes.

The cliffs of Foz Arelho, Silver Coast gets more than 1 million euro investment

The cliffs of Foz Arelho will be reclassified.

Their project improvement and minimization of risks, amounting to 1.102 million, has already been approved and the Board of Caldas da Rainha will launch the public tender in September.

The work should be completed by June 2011, before the start of the next holiday season.

July - Obidos medieval fair

Medieval Fair in Obidos - 1st to 18th of July

During these eleven days the town of Óbidos will travel back and time and recreate the customs and spirit of medieval Europe.

Flowing vibrant banners and heraldic flags, wizards, jugglers,

court jesters, wandering minstrels, musicians and mimes provide the vivacious merriment.

Craft demonstrators and some 100 food, beverage and merchandise vendors take visitors to a time that has long passed.

The afternoon concludes with jousting knights on horseback.

Entertainment activities take place in all three stages of the Old Arms Square and in random areas of the fair. Visitants will also come upon two civil and military camp sites, replicas of assault weapons, surgical and domestic tools, and different animals, such as horses, ponies, donkeys, falcons and snakes.

Visitors can also enjoy a “medieval” style meal. Hearty soups, grilled meat and sausages, snails, cod, quail, rabbit, hog, lamb and squid are only some of the tasty delights offered by almost 20 taverns spread throughout the marketplace.

Whoever wishes may also exchange Euros for the local currency of the fair: the TORREÃO.

This coin was created especially for this event and is equivalent to the Euro. There is no exchange rate and you can take these coins home as souvenir.
